FOC ELDERS
The eldership team at Fellowship of Christians is just that... a team!
By serving as a team, each elder is able to function in his/her strengths.
Elders are responsible for the area best suited to their gifts and oversees others in similar capacity.
Wayne Drain, our Senior Pastor is married to June. His son Chris is married to Mary Ann. His daughter Esther is married to Ben and they have two children, Blake and Madison. His daughter Rhian is married to Jasen. As our Senior Pastor, Wayne oversees the Church staff and Elders and is responsible for overall direction of the church. He has been the pastor of FOC since it’s inception in the early ’70’s during the “Jesus Movement.” Wayne completed his under grad work at Arkansas Tech University in Business and Education. He obtained his theological education through Luther Rice Bible Seminary. Wayne has traveled extensively as a worship leader and conference speaker to 35+ nations and most of the United States. He is also a songwriter and artist associated with Kingsway\EMI and Integrity Music.
David Eslick, Associate Pastor and Elder has been on the pastoral team at FOC since 1992, originally leading children’s and youth ministry. He became an elder in 1997, and presently oversees the pastoral and social action ministries for the church. He graduated in 1985 from

Dr. Tim Carter, Elder of FOC- Board of Trustees, has been an elder since December of 2001 and a member of FOC for 15 years. Tim oversees our Community Groups, Altar Ministry Team and Spiritual Gift Development. He is currently an associate professor in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at
Dr. Travis Arterbury, PhD, Elder of FOC - Missions & Evangelism, is married to Mary Ann, has two sons, Brad and Brian, two daughters-in-law, Melissa and Melanie, four grandchildren, Abby, Mason, Emma, and Anna Claire. Travis has participated in and led mission groups in Kenya, Brazil, Russia, Denmark, China, Taiwan, India and Mexico. Travis oversees Evangelism and Missions at FOC. He is retired after twenty years as a Professor at Arkansas Tech University, twelve years as President of Ergonomics-N-Action, an ergonomic consulting firm, and serving three years on a church staff as Minister of Education.

Chris Abington graduated from Russellville High School and Arkansas Tech University with a degree in Economics/Finance. He is a real estate broker and Manager of Century 21 River Valley Realty, Inc. He currently serves FOC as the chairman of the Stewardship
Committee, teaching Bible Foundations, leader of a community group, and heading up our Thursday night outreach called the “Treasure Hunts.” He and his wife Tara have two children Noah and Lily.

Gregory Burns was awarded a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management/Marketing from Arkansas Tech University in 2005. Currently, Gregory is self-employed as a contract landman in the oil and gas industry for T.S. Dudley. As time permits he also consults small business owners. Gregory serves FOC by overseeing and teaching Bible Foundations. Gregory is also overseeing and serving on the usher team. He serves on FOC’s Altar Ministry Team and assists in teaching the Check It Out class. Every week, Gregory leads a weekly home group that has met consistently in supportive community. He is married to Crystal Day Burns. Day is currently receiving her Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology from Walden University. They have two babies, Camryn, a Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue, and Emerson, a cat.

Lattie McDonough, Elder of FOC and Advisor to Staff, has enjoyed many fruitful years of ministry. The Lord has used him all over the world to prophesy His message. Lattie and his wife Barbara have 3 sons two of which attend FOC. Lattie is greatly honored and respected in our church family as one who provides wise counsel and insight.
